UofL graduates widely recognized as worthy of employment -- we therefore meet the bar.
There are a variety of standard setting activities we could use to determine if an 'A' meets professional standards; e.g., have professionals from the field rate each examination question to determine percentage of graduates who should be familiar with the answer; or simply give our assessments to a sample of practicing classroom teachers and compare their performance with that of our students. This might be an interesting and useful professional development project.
